From a two-person workbench to the Triangle’s trusted IT partner
SCI Technology began in 2011 in a small Six Forks Road office, when founder David Ellory left a corporate network role convinced that local businesses deserved the same caliber of IT that the big firms kept to themselves. The early days were break-fix: a truck, a toolkit, and a promise to answer the phone.
That promise is still the whole business. As clients grew, so did we — from fixing what broke to preventing it, from one engineer to a full team of specialists in networking, cloud and security. Today SCI Technology manages the technology behind more than 140 organizations across Raleigh, Durham and Cary, yet we still run the company like that first office: answer fast, tell the truth, own the outcome.
We’re deliberately not the biggest MSP in the state. We’d rather be the one a client never has to think about — because everything simply works.
Four values that never go on sale
Integrity
Straight answers and honest recommendations — even when the honest answer costs us a sale.
Security First
Every decision starts with the question: does this make our clients safer?
Responsiveness
A real person, a fast reply, and a sense of urgency that matches yours.
Partnership
We win when you grow. We sit on your side of the table, not across it.
